To improve animal welfare in poultry farms across North America.
Gabriel Gagné-Marcotte and Adam Fregeau first connected in university, where their study project sparked the idea for a fast-growing business. Inspired by the unique challenges posed by Canada’s northern climate, they identified a pressing need to optimize the thermal balance of ventilation systems in livestock facilities.
ESA’s innovative air exchangers provide year-round optimal ventilation, ensuring healthier living conditions for poultry while significantly reducing energy costs for farmers. By maintaining the ideal balance of airflow and temperature, ESA helps farmers protect their animals from stress and disease, improving overall productivity and sustainability.
Headquartered in Sherbrooke, QC, ESA employs a team of about 20 dedicated professionals and supplies its cutting-edge technology to hundreds of farmers across Canada and the U.S. every year.
